A driver sustained serious injuries after a crash between a car and a van.
Dyfed-Powys Police said the incident happened on the B4336 between Llanllwni and Llanfihangel ar Arth, Carmarthenshire, on Saturday afternoon.
A Volkswagen Polo and a Ford Transit crashed at about 12.16pm with emergency services arriving on the scene shortly afterwards.
A police spokesman said the driver of the Polo sustained serious injuries.
Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses who may have seen the crash to come forward.
Witnesses have been asked to contact the serious collision unit by calling 101 or using the report an incident service on their website.
