Driver stopped on West Lothian road with no front registration plate, insurance or road tax

A driver on a West Lothian road was stopped with no front registration plate.

Road Police clocked the silver BMW in Whitburn today (20 May) shortly before 12pm.

The driver was also found to have had no insurance or road tax on the car for over four years.

Road Policing Scotland tweeted: "One way to get police attention would be to drive without a front registration plate.

"It certainly got West Lothian Road Police's attention in Whitburn. Car stopped and found to have no policy of insurance & not taxed since Feb 2015."

The driver was reported for the alleged offences and had their vehicle seized by police.
