A driver has allegedly been caught travelling at more than 50 kilometres per hour above the speed limit on a South Australian rural highway with three unrestrained toddlers on board.
The 23-year-old woman was driving along the Olympic Dam Highway, between Roxby Downs and Woomera, when a police patrol spotted her car just after 7:00pm on Wednesday.
Police allege she was speeding at 163 kilometres per hour in the 110kph zone.
The woman from Enfield, in Adelaide's northern suburbs, was pulled over and police discovered three children in the rear of the car.
A three-year-old toddler and two-year-old twins were allegedly not seated in child seats and were not wearing seatbelts.
The woman was reported for speeding, driving at a speed dangerous to the public and three counts of having unrestrained children in the vehicle.
Police said that, because of the remote location, the woman's Toyota sedan was not impounded.
She will face court on a date yet to be set.
