A man suffered serious injuries after crashing into the back of a lorry in Skelmersdale.
The driver was taken to hospital after his Mitsubishi hit the HGV on Pimbo Road at around 10.25am today.
The one-way road remains closed between Peel Road and Whiteledge Road with people asked to find an alternative route.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Constabulary said: "We were called at shortly before 10:25am this morning (Thursday, September 2 nd ) to the report of a serious collision on Pimbo Road in Skelmersdale.
"It is believed that a Mitsubishi car has collided with the back of a HGV and the driver, a man, has suffered serious injuries.
"Diversions are in place and people are being asked to avoid the area."
