Driver's nightmare as car lands on top of caravans in massive parking fail

A driver's vehicle ended up on then roof of two caravans in a massive parking fail.

The motorist attempted to steer the car in a parking area, but it eventually had to be rescued from its precarious perch by firefighters.

Crews attended the emergency shout at Glossop Caravans dealership in Derbyshire to deal with the unfortunate incident which left others bemused by what had happened.

No-one was hurt after the 'mishap' which left the car on the top of the mobile homes,

DerbyshireLive reports the area's fire and rescue service were called to the location on the A57 at around 2.47pm yesterday, to tackle the unfortunate driving faux pas.

No one was hurt during the incident which happened, fire crews say, after a driver suffered a "mishap" when attempting to park their car at the car park.

It is not clear how exactly the driver managed to get the car on top of the caravans.

But the mistake is likely to have caused thousands of pounds' worth of damage to the three vehicles involved.

It comes after Britain's "worst parker" wasted eight minutes trying to reverse into a spot.

The motorist was seen trying to manoeuvre into the parking spot at least 10 times in a car park in Ashford, Kent.

Nurse Andrei Dalca was relaxing on his balcony when he spotted the Toyota driver trying to park in between the white lines.

Andrei, who filmed the parking fail, said: "It was pretty embarrassing. I don't know who gave him his licence - that's what's worrying.

"What made it funny was the fact that there were straight lines to show you where to park and there are so many free spaces."

The driver eventually succeeded after more than 10 "frustratingly slow" attempts, Andrei said.

The nurse was so shocked at the parking fail, that he recorded what should have been a standard manoeuvre being turned into an embarrassing blunder.

Andrei and his girlfriend Sophie Daniels, 26, and cousin Jacob Dalca, 25, playfully called out to the driver suggesting he "retake his test" while laughing among themselves.
