A driver is on the run from a fatal stolen car crash on a Melbourne highway.
Emergency services were called to the Burwood Highway about 1.20am on Wednesday after reports a car had crashed into a pole.
The passenger, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene and the driver had left before police arrived.
The car was stolen from Reservoir last week.
