Driver rams police 'multiple' times before destroying stolen car in high speed chase

A driver of a stolen car was lucky to walk away without any serious injuries after they rammed the vehicle into police and lost control at a roundabout.

Lancashire Roads Policing Unit confirmed they spotted a stolen car in Blackpool before it then rammed police "multiple" times. The car was pursued at speed before it then lost control and hit a roundabout.

The driver managed to walk away from the incident with no injuries and was then arrested for a number of offences. Lancashire Police took to Twitter to share the news of the arrest.

The post said: "Recently stolen vehicle sighted by MN38 in Blackpool. [The] vehicle then rams police multiple times before making off, pursued at speed where [the] driver loses control and takes off into roundabout. Driver fortunately had no injuries, and arrested for multiple offences."
