A driver rammed into an unmarked police car in an attempted to getaway during a chase.
Officers went on a police chase on Tuesday after the driver failed to stop in Waterloo. To try and get away from officers, the man rammed into an unmarked police car causing damage to both vehicles.
The driver, a 29-year-old from Netherton, was found to be wanted on a prison recall and the 23-year-old passenger also from Netherton was wanted for road traffic matters. Both men were arrested.

Following the incident, police found a flat used by the men in the city centre while attempting to evade officers. The flat was searched and officers found £2,000 believed to be from criminal proceeds. The car was also suspected of being stolen from the Preston area.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "Both men remain in custody awaiting questioning in regards to today's [Tuesday] incident before the 29-year-old will be returned to His Majesty's Prison."
