A thug got out of a car and punched the window and wing mirror of another vehicle before speeding off.
Police have launched a manhunt after the incident happened on the A68 near Soutra Aisle, around 15 miles south of Edinburgh.
Cops say the car was attacked at around 2.20pm on Thursday, July 29 and they are appealing for witnesses.
The man got out of his vehicle after traffic came to a stop and punched the windows and wing mirror of another car.
The incident occurred on the southbound carriage of the A68.
Police are asking anyone who saw the incident to get in touch.
