A driver was stopped pulled over by police this afternoon after police said they were caught doing almost 120mph in their boss's car.
A car was caught clocking up a speed of 119mph on the M55 - nearly 50 miles over the speed limit.
After signalling down the Porsche, police officers were shocked to hear that the vehicle didn’t actually belong to the driver, but was actually their boss's.
In a tweet from the Lancashire Road Police , officers said: “No problem with you legitimately borrowing your bosses car for the journey, but we’re not sure they will appreciate you doing 119mph along the M55!!!
“Vehicle stopped and the driver dealt with accordingly. #slowdown #fatal4 #H030 #T3Tacops”
Photos show the Porsche Panamera 4, which can cost over £70,000, on the hard shoulder after being pulled over just after midday.
Twitter user JJ replied saying: "I bet his boss isn't too pleased."
Lancashire Police didn't confirm any further details about the driver and their age and gender are unknown.
As luxurious and exciting driving a Porsche might be, this driver definitely got carried away while living the high life in someone else's car.
Needless to say, the atmosphere in the office today probably won't be pleasant.
