Police and emergency services are on the scene of a crash at Lambton after reports a driver has mounted a kerb and collided with a parked car before reportedly leaving the scene.
A witness has described pedestrians leaping out of the way of the vehicle after it mounted the sidewalk around 5.30pm on Morehead Street before colliding with a second car.
A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance said that paramedics arrived to lend assistance, but that the driver had left the scene. No one else was injured.
Police were called and are investigating the circumstances of the crash, a spokesperson said.
