The driver of a lorry which fell from a flyover lane at Friarton Bridge near Perth on Thursday died at the scene.
The M20 dual carriageway, southbound at Junction 10 (Craigend) to Broxden Roundabout, was shut after a potato transport truck crashed through the safety barrier and plummeted onto the A916 slip road below.
The vehicle was heading along the flyover at Junction 10 at 7.20am on November 4, when it negotiated the severe curve to the right on the raised section of road.
It appears the load shifted and pulled the cab over, sending the lorry down on its side, a drop of approximately 40 foot.
Police Scotland confirmed a 55-year old man had died in the crash.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “A man has died following a collision on the M90 near Perth. The 55-year-old man was driving a lorry southbound when it collided off the slipway.

“He was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
“A road closure remains in place and enquiries are currently ongoing."
Officers are asking for any witnesses with any information or dash cam footage to contact Police Scotland via the 101 phone line, quoting '0396 of November 4'.
South bound M90 road users are being told to expect delays as the carriageway remains closed. Motorists are being asked to head 4km to Junction 9 ( Bridge of Earn ), come off and turn around, before returning to Junction 10 west bound slip towards Broxden roundabout.
