A man has died in a crash with a B-double truck on the Dukes Highway south-east of Adelaide.
The 50-year-old from Mallala was driving a Toyota four-wheel drive when it collided with the heavy vehicle at Culburra, about 50 kilometres north-west of Keith, on the major freight route.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Schubert Road just after 1am on Saturday.
Police earlier said road restrictions would be in place as Major Crash investigators attended.
"Sadly, the driver of the Toyota, a 50-year-old Mallala man died at the scene," police said in a statement.
The man is the 50th person to die on SA roads this year and the crash happened less than a day after police again pleaded with drivers to take care on the roads over the long weekend.
"Police will be taking a no-tolerance approach to blatantly dangerous behaviours like speeding, drink or drug driving, not wearing a seatbelt and being distracted. But we can't make your safety decisions for you," Superintendent Bob Gray said.
Meanwhile, police have asked the occupants of three cars that were in the vicinity of a fatal motorbike crash on Morphett Road at Warradale in Adelaide's south on Thursday night to contact Crime Stoppers.
A 19-year-old motorbike rider from Blair Athol died at the scene, after colliding with a car driven by a 54-year-old Warradale man, who was taken to hospital as a precaution.
"The drivers and any passengers in a green Mazda 2, a blue BMW and a red Mazda 3, are asked to come forward as they may have information that could assist in the investigation," police said.
