Driver in hospital after crash on Glenloch Interchange

One person has been taken to hospital following a crash on the Glenloch Interchange on Friday morning.

The single-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of the Glenloch Interchange and the Tuggeraong Parkway about 5am.

The driver of the car was trapped inside after the crash.

Fire and rescue crews were called to the scene to help rescue the driver, who was pulled out a short time later.

The driver was assessed by paramedics at the scene before the driver was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

ACT police remain on the scene directing traffic.

Drivers have been warned to avoid the area and allow for extra travel time.

Fire and rescue crews helped to remove the driver from the car following the crash.
