Driver in hospital after 2-car crash near Nottingham school

A driver has been taken to hospital on Tuesday morning after a crash in Nottingham near a school.

Nottinghamshire Police officers were called to Old Farm Road in Top Valley at around 8.25am on Tuesday, April 20 following a report of a crash between two cars.

One driver was going to hospital for treatment, but it's believed their injuries aren't life threatening, the force spokesman added.

An eyewitness at the scene of the incident told Nottinghamshire Live that the traffic in the area was very busy during the school run due to the crash but had started to ease as police helped with recovery and directing traffic.
