Driver in custody after crash with squad car on West Side

A person was arrested Saturday after allegedly crashing a vehicle into a squad car while fleeing police in Fifth City on the West Side.
Officers witnessed a drug deal and saw the white Chevrolet Impala drive off at 10:54 p.m. in the 200 block of South Kedzie Avenue, according to Chicago police.
The Impala hit a marked squad car, a Mazda sedan and another Chevrolet before crashing into a light pole, police said. The male driver was taken into custody.
