A woman who was in a car that crashed into a house in Stalybridge was left a critical condition in hospital.
Emergency services rushed to the collision in Ridge Hill Lane just after 1am on Saturday morning (May 15).
A woman was taken to hospital and three other people received minor injuries, according to Greater Manchester Police (GMP).
The corner of a house was completely destroyed in the crash and Ridge Hill Lane was closed in both directions.
A number of people living in the street were also evacuated.
"Police were called just after 1am on Saturday 15 May to reports of a car colliding into a house on Ridge Hill Lane, in Stalybridge," a GMP spokesman said.
"Emergency services attended, and an occupant of the car was taken to hospital, in a critical condition.
"Three others in the car at the time received minor injuries.
"A small number of addresses were evacuated as a precaution and the road closed in both directions."
The road remained shut on Sunday.
