Global construction consultancy firm Driver Group has announced it has opened an office in Madrid.
The Rossendale-based listed company, which provides professional services consultancy to the construction and engineering industries, announced the move today, with the aim to support its clients in mainland Europe.
The group said the launch of its Spain office is supported by the appointment of Javier Sánchez Llopes, a "well-known quantum expert" in the Spanish and Latin American markets with 18 years’ experience.
“Mr. Sánchez will be working in close cooperation with Driver’s European network of offices and his appointment will strengthen the Group’s offering to Spanish speaking clients,” the group said.
Mark Wheeler, Driver Group chief executive, said : “The opening of our new office in Spain is a strategically important step for Driver Group.
“It enhances Driver’s ability to serve clients in the important mainland European market and further enhances our access to and credentials in the commercially significant markets of South America.
