Driver gets off with warning after crashing into back of police car

A driver has been given a warning after crashing into the back of a police car in Bradley Stoke.

The minor collision took place on Bradley Stoke Way just after 7pm on April 30.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said minor damage was caused to the police car.

"At 6.45pm, a car collided into the back of a police car on Bradley Stoke Way," he said.

"Only minor damage was caused to the police vehicle.

Emergency services called to explosion in Bristol flat 

"The driver of the other vehicle declined medical attention and gave their details to officers.

"No further action was taken."

One witness commented on Twitter: "If you're going to crash into the back of someone, it's probably not a good idea for it to be a police car."
