A driver was trapped in a van following a horror crash in Moray.
Police and air ambulance crews raced to the A96 Elgin to Fochabers Road at 6pm on Tuesday.
The road passing Moss of Barmuckity was closed as a result of the two-vehicle smash involving a white Fiat Scudo van and a white Peugot.
The driver was freed from the van at around 7pm but the extent of their injuries is not yet known.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said: “We assisted the ambulance service in rescuing a casualty from the van involved in the crash.
“We are still on the scene and cannot comment on injuries.”
A spokesperson from Police Scotland said: “We were called to a two-vehicle crash on the A96 Elgin to Fochabers Road at 6pm.
“One driver is trapped within a van but we cannot confirm the extent of injuries at this time.
“Ambulance crews are also on the scene and a helimed was called at 6.12pm.”
Bear Scotland representatives diverted motorists while Traffic Scotland confirmed that the stretch of road would be closed for ‘some time’.
