A driver in Dublin fled the scene after the car they were driving collided with a tree.
Emergency services rushed to the crash in Coolmine in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Upon arrival, firefighters from Blanchardstown discovered that the car had collided with pedestrian fencing and trees in the area.
Significant damage was caused to the car but no occupants were present with Dublin Fire Brigade removing the vehicle.
