A car slammed into a barrier on Lake Shore Drive Monday in Lake View.
About 2:20 a.m., a Ford Escape was northbound in the 3500 block of North Lake Shore Drive when it struck a guardrail, Chicago police said.
The driver fled before authorities arrived on scene, police said.
No injuries were reported in the collision.
