A driver fled after ploughing into a traffic light in Wythenshawe.
Police were called to reports of a crash on Altrincham Road in Baguley last night.
When they arrived the driver had left the scene, and was thought to have left on foot.

No-arrests have been made.
Altrincham Road was shut for about an hour at its junction with Hall Lane, as police worked at the scene.
A GMP spokesperson said: "Officers were called around 8.45pm on Friday 18 June to Altrincham Road, Manchester to a report of a collision.
"Emergency services attended and enquiries established a car had been in collision with a traffic light.
"The driver failed to remain at the scene and is believed to have fled on foot.
"Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made."
