Driver deliberately reversed into another car and injured one person in Elland Road smash

Police are hunting a driver who deliberately reversed into another car, injuring one person, before fleeing the scene.

The incident happened on Elland Road at 6.40am on Thursday November 27.

An unknown dark coloured hatchback smashed backwards into a Hyundai IX35, causing extensive damage to the Hyundai.

It then drove off from the scene down Elland Road in the direction of Leeds ring road (A6110).

The male driver of the Hyundai, who suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash, stopped and reported what had happened to police.

West Yorkshire Police would like to hear from anyone who may have dash cam footage of the incident or of the unknown vehicle prior to the collision.
