A man who won a £30,000 sports car wrote it off just two days later.
Adam Griffiths bagged the Mitsubishi Evo IX and £1,000 in the Dream Car Giveaways competition on April 26.
The following day the 27-year-old travelled 90 miles to collect his prize, Wales Online reported.
Just two days after that he smashed the motor while driving in Pontypridd, causing himself and the passenger minor injuries in the process.
Adam, from Rhydyfelin, said: "It's my fault, I hurt myself in this crash and I've got to deal with the consequences.

"I'm just lucky that my passenger was able to walk away - the car can be replaced but some things can't."
Adam has since taken down his Facebook page because he was being targeted with abuse.
A spokesman said: "Emergency services were called to a single vehicle road traffic collision which happened on Cardiff Road, Glyntaff, Pontypridd.

"The driver and male passenger suffered minor injuries.
"The 27 year-old local man who was driving the car has been reported for driving without due care and attention."
Dream Car Giveaways confirmed the vehicle was the same one as that which had been given away the night before.
The company took a photo of Adam smiling next to his then intact car with the caption: "Adam Griffiths was straight over today to collect this stunning Evo IX he won in last nights draw.
"A lovely example this was, which I’m sure he will get many happy miles from! Enjoy".
