The driver of a black Commodore allegedly involved in a fatal head-on collision on the Monaro Highway has been extradited to NSW.
Marc Anthony Jessop, 48, of Moruya, appeared before the ACT Magistrate's Court on Sunday. He faced multiple charges including manslaughter and dangerous driving occasioning death.
Police said in a statement on Thursday, that a white van heading south on the Monaro Highway, near Williamsdale, was hit head-on by the Commodore when it veered onto the wrong side during a police pursuit.
Despite the efforts of emergency services the driver of the van, a man aged in his 50s, died at the scene.
Police prosecutor David Leggett presented the NSW warrant for extradition to the court. He said Jessop was on bail for a number of offences in NSW.

Defence lawyer Anastasia Qvist opposed the warrant.
However, Magistrate James Lawton released Jessop into the custody of NSW Senior Constable Brian McDermott.
He will remain on remand to appear before Queanbeyan Court on Monday.
