A man has been charged over a hit and run which injured a six-year-old boy in Edinburgh.
A car hit the boy as he was walking across a pedestrian crossing on West Approach Road in the capital at about 4.40pm on November 6, 2020.
Following the crash the boy was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
The 44-year-old man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
