A man has been charged with road traffic offences after the vehicle he was driving collided with a bus near to Glasgow Fort last night.
The collision, which occurred on Gartloch Road around 6pm, saw both vehicles career down an embankment and suffer serious damage.
The driver, a 44-year-old male, was taken to University Hospital Monklands after emergency services raced to the scene when the alarm was raised.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers attended a report of a crash between a bus and a car on Gartloch Road, Gartcosh around 6.10pm on Sunday, 15 November, 2020.
"The driver of the car was taken to University Hospital Monklands. A 44 year-old-man has been charged in connection with road traffic offences and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
