A driver stuck in traffic refused to let the weather dampen their spirits by building a snowman in the middle of the road.
Traffic ground to a halt on the A406 in Central London on Sunday as the country was hit by snow and ice from the arctic cold snap, the Mirror reports.
One motorist decided to pass the time by building a snowman right in the middle of two lanes, with cars having to pass on either side of the icy structure, which was about the height of a vehicle.
Twitter user @nishattazz shared a picture of the snowman, posting: "Someone made a snowman in the middle of the A406 #snow #uksnow." The post has received dozens of retweets with many left amused and some had even seen the snowman in person on their travels.
One wrote: "May as well, as no one was going anywhere."
Then another said: "Ahahaha - did the snowman survive?"
A third user added: "I drove right past this, was hilarious!"
"I think it's someone frozen overnight," a fourth user joked.
Snowfall has led to roads been closed across the UK and on the M25 on the south-east of England, drivers were left trapped in their cars overnight due to several incident on the motorway.
The Met Office have issued yellow weather warnings for snow and ice until Thursday.
There is also a warning for wintry showers in many areas of northern Scotland for 48 hours from midday on Tuesday.
