Driver blasts song 'F*** Tha Police' at cops having a brew but soon regrets it

A driver blasted the rap song 'F*** Tha Police' at traffic officers enjoying a cup of tea - but soon regretted their immature actions.

The Lancashire Road Police unit were taking a rare minute out to have a cup of tea when they were interrupted by a very loud version of NWA's song.

Writing about the incident on Twitter , police said they'd pulled up at Crow Orchard petrol station off Junction 27 of the M6 in Wigan at around 2.30am on December 17.

But one driver appeared to think it was funny to play the 'derogatory' tune - little did they know it would be police who would have the last laugh.

It turned out that the Ford Fiesta prankster had no insurance and was wanted for breaching a court order.

The motorist was arrested and his car was seized.

Following the incident police tweeted: "If you insist on playing a well known derogatory song about the police, next to officers having a rare brew then at least make sure you're insured...

"Oh and don't have two warrants outstanding. One arrested and one car seized #T2TacOps #MN08 #TooEasy."

"F*** Tha Police" is a protest song by American hip hop group N.W.A that appears on the 1988 album Straight Outta Compton
