Driver blasts 'F** Da Police' song at officers enjoying a brew - they had the last laugh

Sometimes criminals do their best to catch themselves.

Police in Lancashire told last night how they arrested a driver and seized a car after being provoked by a 'well-known derogatory song' being blasted from a car.

Sharing the tale on Twitter, the Lancashire Road Police unit said they had stopped at Crow Orchard petrol station off Junction 27 of the M6 in Wigan for a well-earned brew at 2.30am this morning.

But their cuppa was rudely interrupted by a nearby driver who parked up and thought it was funny to play controversial rap song 'F*k Da Police' by NWA.

Police decided to speak to the driver and it turned out the car wasn't insured and the driver was wanted on a warrant for breaching a court order in Greater Manchester.

One person was arrested and the car seized, police said.

Describing the incident on Twitter, officers said: "If you insist on playing a well known derogatory song about the Police, next to officers having a rare brew then at least make sure you're insured... oh and don't have two warrants outstanding. 1 arrested and 1 car seized #T2TacOps #MN08 #TooEasy "

Two 'crying with laughter' emojis were added.

Twitter followers were quick to enjoy the swift justice.

"What can you say. You don't even need to look for them, fall into your lap, or handcuffs," wrote one.

"I hope you played the derp song all the way to the station," added another.
