Driver blasted up to five times in car and another shot in back in Killeek lane, Dublin

A man is currently in a critical condition after being blasted up to five times while in a vehicle in north Dublin.

The driver of the car was shot multiple times in the Killeek area near Dublin Airport at around 12pm.

A second man in the car was shot in the back and is seriously injured.

A spokesman for Gardai told Dublin Live: "We are currently at the scene of an alleged shooting incident at Killeek Lane, Dublin."

He added: "No further information is available at this time."
