A driver has been arrested by police following a short pursuit in Salford.
Officers attempted to pull a motorist over in relation to a traffic offence on Tuesday evening, but they drove off.
Officers gave chase and the driver later pulled over on Oldfield Road, near the junction with Regent Road, before fleeing on foot.
The driver was caught nearby and has now been arrested on suspicion of a Section 24 offence of the Road Traffic Act.
