Driver arrested after Range Rover crashed into parked car... 20 minutes after being reported stolen

A driver was arrested after allegedly crashing a stolen Range Rover into a parked car.

The incident took place on Old Kiln Lane, in Bolton, earlier today (Feburuary 28) according to Greater Manchester Police (GMP).

Cops said that the blue 4x4 was only reported as stolen 20 minutes earlier.

After the crash, the driver allegedly tried to run away before being caught and arrested.

A photo taken by police and shared to the @GMPTraffic Twitter account shows extensive damage to the front and side of the Range Rover.

@GMPTraffic tweeted: "Stolen 20 minutes prior to being seen by XT51, this stolen Range Rover crashed into a parked vehicle on Old Kiln Lane earlier today.

"Driver tried to run but was caught & arrested by XT11."
