Driver arrested after police 'box them in' in chase

Police

A motorist who failed to stop for police was arrested following a chase in Oldham.

Greater Manchester Traffic Police posted a picture of the vehicle on Twitter and described how the motorist was boxed in after the vehicle was stung by officers following a pursuit.

The driver was then arrested for suspected drug driving and dangerous driving and taken to custody.

The force stated on Twitter: "This vehicle failed to stop for our divisional colleagues in #Oldham. Our #RPU and #TVIU

#TPAC patrols took over the pursuit and the vehicle was stung. The vehicle was boxed in and the driver #arrested for Dangerous Driving and drug driving. Now en-route to custody."
