A man has been arrested after what police have described as an 'incident' on the A9 in Falkirk yesterday evening.
Cops pulled a car over shortly before 6pm on Monday, June 28, near to the Travelodge.
Three police vehicles and a number of officers surrounded the car, which was situated in the middle of the road.
The nature of the incident is unknown, but an investigation has now started.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.50pm on Monday, 28 June, a car was stopped on the A9 near to the Travel Lodge in Falkirk.
"A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are continuing."
