Driver arrested after being found with more than £30k worth of cocaine in car

A driver has been arrested after more than £30,000 worth of drugs were found following a police pursuit.

Officers reported that they requested the driver of a Mini vehicle to stop on Bradley Fold Road in Bolton after exceeding the speed limit on Friday (June 25).

The driver was pursued through the Ainsworth area before colliding with a parked car.

Officers were then able to detain the man.

A search later identified more than £30,000 worth of cocaine and cash which was then seized by police.

The incident was first reported on the GMP Traffic Twitter page.

The post said: “#XT64 requested driver of mini to stop on Bradley Fold Rd after exceeding the speed limit.

“He was pursued through Ainsworth before colliding with a parked car.

“Detained by officer with help from the public.

“Over £30000 worth of cocaine + cash seized too #Arrested #fatal4”
