A driver has been arrested after allegedly being found in possession of cannabis and failing a roadside drug wipe in Falkirk.
Officers say they stopped a car within Central Retail Park yesterday morning, Tuesday December 29.
It is also believed the 38-year-old man was found to have no insurance, with his car later seized by cops.
Taking to Twitter, Falkirk Police said: "Yesterday morning Stirling Road Policing officers stopped a 38-year-old male driving in Falkirk Retail Park.
"He was found in possession of cannabis, failed a roadside Drug Wipe and had no insurance so his car was seized.
"You are up to 3 times more likely to be killed or seriously injured in a road accident when driving after taking cannabis, and you can be tested immediately at the roadside for it.
"Drugs can stay in a user’s system for hours and even days after consumption. Some heavy users will always have drugs in their system.
