A driver has been airlifted to Canberra Hospital after a truck rolled over on the Federal Highway on Thursday morning.
The incident happened about 8.30am near the turn off with the Hume Highway.
The truck was travelling southbound when it rolled over, trapping the driver inside.
Multiple emergency crews were called to the scene, including police rescue, NSW fire and rescue and paramedics.
The driver was cut out of the truck by police rescue and was treated at the scene for chest and knee injuries, before being taken by helicopter to Canberra Hospital, a NSW ambulance spokeswoman said.
A driver of a second truck near the crash site was also treated by paramedics for minor injuries but was not taken to hospital.
Hazmat crews remain at the scene cleaning up a spill as a result of the crash, although it is not known what has spilled.
The incident has forced the closure of one southbound lane on the Federal Highway.
Traffic authorities have urged drivers to exercise caution and allow for extra travel time.
