A driver has died after a horror crash in Moray .
Emergency services swooped on the A98 Fochabers to Buckie Road near Swiss Cottage at around 4pm this afternoon.
Police are still trying to determine exactly what caused the crash , which involved only a silver Ford Fiesta car.
Sadly the driver and sole occupant of the car, a 34-year-old man, died at the scene.
Sergeant Andy Ramsay of the Road Policing Unit said: "Our thoughts at this difficult time are with the family and friends of the driver and an investigation into the collision is underway to piece together exactly what happened.
"I would urge anyone who saw the vehicle prior to the collision or who witnessed the accident itself and who hasn't yet come forward to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 2789 of August 9, 2019 as soon as possible."
