Drive-thru North Pole experience opens in Manchester for Christmas

A North Pole drive-thru event has opened in Manchester this Christmas.

Drive-Thru Christmas features real reindeer, a Santa's grotto and naughty elves with their foam guns.

Families stay inside their cars to travel through what promises to be a 'snow-filled Christmas winter wonderland'.

The experience has been set up in the car park of The Sheridan events venue, in Oldham Road, Miles Platting, around 10 minutes from Manchester city centre.

You'll see Santa, who you'll be given a QR code to call, and drive through the festive scene featuring nine of Santa's reindeer, elves, Christmas trees, candy sticks and more.

Tickets cost £25 per car and can be booked online.

A separate reindeer feeding experience can be booked for the animals' early morning feed at 6am. Families book an individual slot costing £95.

While many events have had to be cancelled this year amid Manchester's tier three status, there are still some taking place across the region. See our round-up here.
