Drive-in raves taking place at secret location near Bristol with big acts announced

Major acts have been announced to play as part of a series of drive-in raves taking place near Bristol.

A secret location near the city will host three separate events between July 31 and August 2, with DJs announced so far including Bristol's very own Eats Everything and drum & bass supergroup Kings Of The Rollers.

The raves will be "safe and socially distanced," said organisers Drive-In Events, with a number of measures in place to protect staff and revellers.

Each show will last between two and three hours, with the yet-to-be-announced venue a 20-minute drive from Bristol.

"Following in the footsteps of the Germans and how they are dealing with life post-lockdown, we are teaming up to bring Bristol a series of safe and socially distanced drive-in events," said organisers.

"These events will only be held when it safe to do so - in line with advice of the Government and approval from local councils and authorities."

There is a maximum of four people allowed in each car, with tickets costing £45 per vehicle - that works out at £11.25 each in a car of four.

Alongside the music ticket-holders can expect a light and laser show, "spectacular" special effect and fireworks, said organisers.

Who's playing at each event?

Below are details of the three separate events and the lineup for each one.

A spokesperson said dates are subject to change if further Covid-19 restrictions come into place.

Unfortunately tickets have now sold out, but keep your eyes on the Facebook event page to see if more become available.
