A drive-in rave could be coming to Bristol this summer, complete with a live DJ and laser show.
A series of "safe and socially distanced" events have been announced to take place in London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Bristol.
Organisers Electrikal Sound System said they will release more information about the parties in the coming weeks, and will only stage them when it safe to do so - in line with advice of the Government
A spokesperson said: "The events will offer Drive-In: Cinema, Music & More all in safe, well organised and secure environments - ensuring people have access to entertainment while also adhering to social distance.
"Some of our amazing locations and car parks have been earmarked across the UK to bring these shows to London, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh & Glasgow."
They added the events will feature a performance from a live DJ on stage in front of the cars, a laser show, "spectacular" special effects and more.
Music played by the DJ will be broadcast through car stereos.
Tickets will be scanned through closed windows upon entry and there will be a maximum of two people allowed in each car.
A number of drive-in raves have been held in Germany, which have received widespread press in the UK.
Mixmag reported that the most recent saw a festival stage equipped with a full soundsystem and lighting rig erected in a Schüttorf club car park, with 250 people enjoying the party.
Forbes reported that drive-in concerts have also been taking place in Denmark recently.
