A Harry Potter and Batman drive-in movie night is coming to West Lothian this month.
As Scotland opens up after lockdown Hopetoun House will be transformed for a weekend of socially distanced drive through movie nights.
The event in Hopetoun House, Abercorn will take place on the bank holiday weekend of Friday, May 28, to Sunday, May 30.
Nine films are scheduled over the weekend and movie goers will need to have an FM radio in their car and will learn the correct frequency on arrival.
The movies will be screened against the backdrop of the historic location using what the organisers claim is the world’s biggest LED screen.
They held Scotland’s first socially distanced drive through in Edinburgh last summer and are now moving onto West Lothian.
Event organiser, Oli Norman, CEO of itison said: “Finally, we can get back to delivering amazing experiences! We’re thrilled to announce an epic line up of Harry Potter and the Batman Trilogy against the stunning backdrop of Hopetoun House (or Wayne Manor!).
“Having pioneered Scotland’s first socially distanced Drive-In last Summer and alongside the First Minister’s lockdown easing plan we’re confident it’s going to be a fresh start for great times ahead shared with our friends and family.”
