Drive-in cinema coming to Wigan for early May bank holiday weekend

A drive-in cinema is coming to Wigan this early May bank holiday weekend.

The event is running over three days at the DW Stadium, with films showing morning, afternoon and evening.

Tickets for the Daisy Duke's Drive-In Cinema are already selling fast and a new screening of the horror movie IT has been added to the Saturday night line-up and will feature live actors roaming around the cars.

There's also a matinee performance of the children's favourite Cars, showing at 11am on the Sunday for a cheaper rate of £25 per car.
