'Drishyam 2' box office collection Week 6: Ajay Devgn starrer crosses Rs 4 crore mark as it takes total earnings to Rs 222.06 crore

There is just no stopping Ajay Devgn's crime drama 'Drishyam 2' at the box office. The film which is one of the most successful releases of 2022, is heading for a phenomenal sixth week.

The film netted an amazing Rs 80 lakhs on its sixth Monday, thus taking its sixth-week collections to a total of Rs 4 crore nett. With three more days till it completes another successful week, it remains to see just how much the film will make at the end of its run.

'Drishyam 2' started off its box office run with a collection of Rs 102.37 crore on week one and continued the winning streak with collections of Rs 57.16 crore, Rs 31.41 crore, Rs 18.92 crore and Rs 8.19 crore in the following weeks.

The south film RRR earned an estimated Rs 4.90 crore in its 6th week, while 'Pushpa The Rise' earned an impressive Rs 6.20 crore nett.

If 'Drishyam 2' can keep the momentum going it could beat the records held by both films.

According to reports, it was the poor performance of the Ranveer Singh starrer 'Cirkus' that has helped boost the 'Drishyam 2' box office numbers and keep it on course to a Rs 230 crore nett collection.

The collections of Drishyam stand behind the sci-fi fantasy spectacle 'Brahmastra' which earned approximately Rs 400 crore at box office, 'The Kashmir Files' which drew in over Rs 300 crore, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' which earned Rs 260 crore.
