1. 15,000 emails set for October

A conservative watchdog group released a new tranche of emails from Hillary Clinton’s time at the state department and said the FBI had located 15,000 additional documents Clinton didn’t turn over.

2. Favor requests for donors

In some emails published by Judicial Watch, a Clinton foundation employee asked top Clinton aide Huma Abedin to arrange favors for foundation donors – a meeting with Clinton for the crown prince of Bahrain, for example.

5. ‘I’m not flip-flopping’

A day after his new campaign manager said the “deportation force” Trump has proposed to remove undocumented migrants was “to be determined”, Trump insisted: “I’m not flip-flopping.”

6. Clinton’s $80m ad buy

The Clinton campaign reserved $80m in air time in eight competitive states for the fall, bringing their total spending on TV ads to $150m, versus $5m worth reserved so far by the Trump campaign.
