In a huge first for her, Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall has opened up a bar in her home town of South Shields.
The proud Sanddancer is on Ocean Road this weekend, having opened its doors early for an as Little Mix finished their trio of Newcastle concerts last week.
Jade's bandmates Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock were in attendance, alongside famous faces like Newcastle striker Andy Carroll and X Factor winner Joe McElderry.
And on Friday night members of the public will get their first taste of Red Door, a venture which has seen Jade team up with leisure operators Red Door, who already run successful bars in Chester and Liverpool.
The venue is in the premises formerly know as Beach and then Amari Beach and when it comes to its drinks offerings, there is a strong emphasis on cocktails.
