District Collector N.Tej Lohit Reddy launched “Kilikalum Coolavatte”, a campaign to offer drinking water to birds during summer. As part of the 10-day-long campaign, the public can post pictures of pitchers in their house from which birds drink water and eat food. It should be accompanied by the hashtags #kilikalum_coolavatte and #nammude _kozhikode. The best photos will be rewarded by the district administration every day, a press release said.
