Drink driver was almost three times over the limit in Morrison's car park

A 41-year-old man was drink-driving in a Volkswagen Passat in Kings Road in Newark.

Tomas Grinevicius, of North Gate, Newark, pleaded guilty to having 131 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35, on May 25.

At court, he was banned from driving for 32 months, ordered to pay £85 towards victim services and £85 costs.

He was given a community order, a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to a maximum of eight days and unpaid work for 200 hours.

His driving record will be endorsed after he pleaded guilty to using the Volkswagen Passat in Morrisons car park, Kings Road, without insurance.

One driver was banned from the roads for three years.

Ian Booth, 52, of Colleymoor Leys Lane, Clifton, pleaded guilty to having 85 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35.

Nottingham Magistrates' Court heard he was driving a Volkswagen Passat in Wilford Lane, Wilford, when the offence was committed on May 27.

Booth was sentenced to a community order, unpaid work for 40 hours over 12 months, was ordered to pay £85 towards victim services and costs of £85.

A driver pleaded guilty to drink-driving in a Volkswagen Passat in Hine Avenue, Newark.

Patrik Marosz, 27, of Gresham Close, Newark, had 99 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35, on June 23.

At court, he received a community order, unpaid work for 100 hours over 12 months, orders to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £85. He was banned from driving for 26 months.

A 38-year-old woman was fined £160 after she was caught drink-driving in Loughborough Road in West Bridgford.

Emma Doyle, of Bruce Close, The Meadows, pleaded guilty to having 49 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35, on March 6.

At court, she was banned from driving for 14 months, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

A driving ban on one offender will last for 30 months.

Denise Cunningham, 44, of Arnside Road, Bestwood, received the disqualification after she pleaded guilty to drink-driving.

The court heard she drove a black Peugeot in Woodthorpe Drive, Bestwood, when she had 117 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35, on April 12.

She received a community order, rehabilitation activity requirement for a maximum of ten days and orders to pay £85 towards victim services and costs of £150.
